All Rookies attendees are invited to informal races on the Rum River on Thursday nights through the end of August and possibly into September if there's interest. 6:30pm start time. Start is at Rum River South County Park in Anoka. Races of varying lengths. 2 miles - 6 miles - Depending on interest.
Also, come on out to the Jensen Handicap Race this coming Sunday (8/20) Rum River South County Park. For this race you do not need a partner or a boat. Just show up. All participants will randomly be assigned partners within ability groups with the goal being that teams be evenly matched. Show up at 10am. Race starts at 11am. It's less than an hour. Potluck and party afterwards. Blaze orange attire encouraged :)
